Holston Relocation Services – Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Holston Relocation Services. By hiring our services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before scheduling or engaging with our relocation services.

1. Services Provided

Holston Relocation Services ("Company", "we", "our", or "us") offers professional relocation services including packing, loading, transporting, and unloading. The scope of services will be outlined in the individual service agreement or quote.

2. Quotes and Estimates

  • All quotes provided are non-binding estimates based on information provided by the customer.

  • Final charges may vary depending on actual time, labor, equipment, and materials used.

  • Any changes to the move (location, volume, or timing) must be communicated 48 hours in advance.

3. Booking and Cancellations

  • A deposit may be required to secure your booking.

  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled move may result in a cancellation fee.

  • Holston Relocation Services reserves the right to cancel or reschedule due to unforeseen events, including but not limited to weather, road conditions, or crew availability.

4. Customer Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all items to be moved are properly packed, labeled, and ready for transport.

  • Inform us of any special handling needs (fragile, high-value, or hazardous items).

  • Be present during pickup and delivery or authorize a responsible representative.

5. Insurance and Liability

  • Holston Relocation Services provides basic valuation coverage as required by law.

  • Additional insurance can be purchased through a third-party provider upon request.

  • We are not liable for:

    • Items packed by the customer

    • Hidden damages in pre-existing conditions

    • Delays due to traffic, weather, or other factors beyond our control

6. Prohibited Items

We do not transport:

  • Flammable, explosive, or hazardous materials

  • Perishable foods

  • Illegal substances

  • Animals or pets

7. Payment Terms

  • Full payment is due upon completion of the move unless otherwise specified in the contract.

  • Accepted payment methods include cash, credit/debit cards, and approved digital payments.

  • Late payments may be subject to additional fees.

8. Claims and Disputes

  • All claims for damage or loss must be submitted in writing within 10 business days of delivery.

  • We will investigate all claims in good faith and provide a resolution within 30 days.

9. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Holston Relocation Services be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

11. Amendments

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be posted on our website and take effect immediately upon posting.
 

12. Messaging Terms
